1-The COR is a constructed ball, externally made up of 3 resistant and flexible rubber hose rings, joined together.
2-The lightest CORES normally weigh between 1.1 lbs(500 grams) and 2.2 lbs (1 kilo). The heaviest, between 5.0 lbs (2, 3 kg) or more pounds.
3-In the DUNI the COR varies in size and weight according to the category to which the players belong.
4-Training balls A) can be even lighter or heavier.
B) can be even smaller or larger.
The COR - in Light Version
This version is made with only 3 resistant and flexible rubber hose rings, placed in a circular shape, which are joined, at their 6 (six) intersection points. Each ring must be made of rubber hose with a circular section, with an approximate diameter between 1 and 3 centimeters, if one wishes to play or train with a simpler and lighter ball.
The COR - in Version heavy
This ball, in addition to the 3 rings, has a heavy sphere at its center, from which 6 spokes emerge: two polar spokes and four equatorial spokes. These spokes are strongly attached to the 3 rings at their 6 (six) intersection points, as shown in the graphic. The central sphere can be hollow and provided with a plug so that, by means of a filling, the weight of the COR can be regulated.
You can also fill the hose with chain or weights, to give more weight to the Cor, dispensing with the central sphere.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The ball should not be rigid, but flexible. The flexibility of the COR is achieved by using resistant and flexible rubber or plastic hoses in its construction. These hoses can be filled with various materials that add weight and beauty to the COR, but do not detract from its flexibility. As COR is a heavy ball, softness is essential when choosing the materials for its construction.
